Materials and equipment: 8 x 10.5" art paper provided by Art to Remember • oil pastels • markers.

Step 1: What do BUGS do? Fly, creep, swim and climb! What environment do they live in? Use your imagination and create a wild and colorful world for one or more buggy creatures. Draw your composition lightly in pencil.

Step 2: Add color. Use colors that are vibrant and that contrast. Outline in black markers for emphasis. Hint: Do not use metallic or neon colors because they do not reprint well.
